But I haven't pulled an all-nighter since my twenties

There's too much good reading to be got. I just downloaded Albert Camus's The Rebel: An Essay on Man in Revolt

Normally several storms have blown through by now, but we even missed the traditional Halloween Storm.

Parties were not my favorite activity. I usually stayed long enough to satisfy social or business obligations before heading home to my cats, who never get drunk and/or talk politics.
Im introverted but i like house parties because its more intimate and fun. I do like going to the club too though...maybe Im not as introverted as other introverts lol. But I dont go clubbing all the time, probably once or twice a year.

I would just like to say that I find spiders terrifying, so I'm skipping past all the pictures of that megalopolis. No, thank you. *shudder*

I don't mind spiders, so long as they stay in their webs and do their little thing and don't harass me. I'd go, 'OK, your job is to eat all the bugs. Don't leave this part of the window corner or else I'll have you evicted.'

I like spiders, I think they are a cool life form, but I don't think I could handle thousands of them at once!

Spiders fascinate me. We used to get a dozen or so catface spiders building webs around the outside of the house and shop. Didn't have any for a few years, but some nice healthy ones were at work this summer. Hope we'll have more next year. The only ones I whack are the occasional black widows. The rest I extend professional courtesy (I'm a weaver, but certainly not in a spider's class).

I'd love to see that web.

Spiders in places where I've lived most of my life aren't venomous, and I'm mostly fine with them, but I have to admit my aversion to walking through bush trails and catching spiderwebs in my face. It's quite off-putting.

Being in Australia, the spider aversion is far more understandable. I'm sure I mentioned my Oz spider story here before, so I won't repeat.

Snow update - everything is still covered and it's still cold! Maybe it's gonna stick around for a bit.

Also, made this writing-related meme last night:

Got my Euros today at Continental Currency (my bank doesn't keep Euros) Mostly, we'll be using credit cards, but we want to have some cash, too.

The exchange rate was 1.6853, meaning 750 Euros cost us $1,267.97 Cdn

First thing I googled was how much a beer costs in Galway. Seems it is about 6 Euros
