So now onto the second thing I am preparing - a vegan "beef' and broccoli roast using soy curls, which I have never tried cooking before, so with me luck!

I just prepared a juicy smoked chicken dish with pureed tomatoes, diced onions, paprika, turmeric, reduced-fat cream, and garlic. Gotta love garlic. :)

Finished a quilt square to be included in a project intended to raise awareness of women's heart issues. Project is centered in Australia, but squares are being solicited globally.

My work wife doesn't work Fridays and usually works from home Mondays, so each Thursday as we leave the office one, other or both of us say "See you next Tuesday."

We had our office secret Santa on Thursday and I had picked her name from the hat. Lucky me, because she'd be forgiving no matter what I picked up. I had a t-shirt printed with "See, you, next, Tuesday." (the commas because I punctuate her reports). That and Sweet Thursday because she enjoyed Cannery Row when I insisted she read it earlier this year.

And why do I wait until now to tell you all? Mostly because I've used up my conscience-free visits to this thread without posting.

"See you next Tuesday."
You're doing this fully conscious of the joke, right?

Here's my little post for today - I bought this new pan and successfully baked my first ever Detroit-style pizza at home. It turned out really well. It's so good. Nice crispy edges, thicc crust, with some dough bubbles. Plus the ingredients probably only set me back like $6-7. Not bad for three filling meals.

Ireland also had the most inedible Chinese food that ever stared up from my plate, and I have had some gawdawful Chinese food. It was the only place we could find to eat at night in Achill.

The pros of being a homebody is that you can be yourself at your room and be a bit crazy.

The cons of being a homebody is that people will pester you with chores and sneezing easily when you go outside.

(Is there anyone who is a homebody in this forum?)

Joke?

Kidding. Of course it's deliberate. If I remember correctly, my first entry to the short story contest back in old town was called See You Next Tuesday.
