Unfortunately, Johann -- himself a singer, teacher and musician -- became an alcoholic later in life and beat Ludwig (the famous one). At 18, Ludwig had to obtain an order to force Johann to support his family. Johann died in 1792, soon after Ludwig moved to Vienna to study with Joseph Haydn.
Incidentally, the family name "van Beethoven" means from (van) the village of Bettenhoven (i.e. the Dutch name of this place: Bettincourt - Wikipedia)

I'm looking at the guild finder and am unsure what kind of guild I want to apply to. On the one hand there are trading guilds....Great, I love gold and am a crafting loon. However there are also guilds for being social, which, ugh, I'm just not. I should be though, need to get outta my comfort zone. But I don't wanna.

I wish. There's a lot of this kind of thing going on where people are just assuming that gen AI is correct. And then others assume that the people providing them with fake gen AI information are actually writing/researching things themselves instead of using gen AI. It stinks !

I've heard of occasions when AI starts swearing at people, and even when it starts spouting conspiracy theories.
I returned to an old story I abandoned months ago only to fear that it is fubar.

Instead, I started a brand new story. I'm about 600 words into it, and it's going good. I know where this is going.

It's funny how some stories chug along in fits and starts and some just roll along.
Don't I know it. I think the ones that stop and start for me the most are hard sci-fi stories, or stories that deal with subject matter that I'm not familiar with. So I have to stop and research stuff quite often. That's how one grows, I suppose, but I sure like writing stuff that I know instead. Can get into The Zone and just bang out word after word for hours on end !
With me, it seems to be having a clear idea where it's going.

We've got a rematch, Cats vs Oilers. I have to believe that the Oily Boys have got it this time around. It'll be some time before we see some action, though that will be good for the players to heal and rest up a bit. Game 1 is scheduled for June 4. Let's go !
