Just make sure to keep your aquarium full of rattlesnakes to drop on the raiders through the murder hole of the fortress. Heck, nonvenomous gartersnakes would probably do as well. Armored raiders are scared of snakes.

I used to see snakes in the yard all the time, but haven't in a few years. Wonder what happened to them.
