My husband has made gallons and gallons of homemade salsa over the years. He makes enough for us and then some that he uses for trading stock. My computer guru used to charge two quarts of salsa for his services until his stomach got wonky on him.

Ahem. The newest member of our family arrived around 6:00 this evening: a little girl weighing in at 9.5 pounds.

Tomatoes, onions, garlic, hot peppers, lime juice, salt... toss it in a blender and done.

It's already 4 and I've done absolutely nothing today. I'm going to have to pack in a bunch of stuff real quick. On the docket for today is some more writing-related stuff, baking some cookies, and vacuuming.

I've sub-divided my house into 3 areas for that and rotate semi-daily through them. I pull the furniture and rugs every other time and steam clean the wood every other time I pull the furniture. I clean the kitchen daily so that doesn't count. I wipe the bathrooms down daily, so that doesn't really count either. Just need to scrub the shower once a week or so (it's super easy if you keep up on it).
