Never mind all that, think of the average person of average intelligence that never lived in a universe without digital technology. That'll be damn near everyone in a few decades.
A 70-some friend of mine is about to spend a week in a northwoods cabin, without internet, and is a bit anxious about how she will spend her time. She "knows" she can read and walk and all that stuff, and that we all used to live without the internet, but is still not sure she and her husband can spend a week together so intensely.
 
Game 2 of the SCF was a classic. What a game. Some incredible goals. Unfortunately, the Oilers lost in double overtime. It's tied 1-1 now, seems like it's gonna be one helluva series !

I love a good lager. Sweet drinks are nice here and there, but I can't pound a bunch of them without starting to feel sick, whereas with beer...

Air quality index has dropped to 5, meaning "moderate risk." Still looks pretty hazy out there, but I think I'll be able to leave the windows open overnight and get some cool air in here.

This reminds me of an old saying of my grandmother's (she was born in 1880!) - it went something like this:

You will not know someone until you've licked clean the lid of a salt barrel with them.
 
Following on something I read today - We fear more being undead than dead.
If my consciousness ceased to exist, I guess it wouldn't make any difference to me, who would no longer be there to perceive anything. However, I suppose I could be embarrassed in advance, imagining my zombie ass staggering around all gross and nude with my naughty bits flopping about.
 
They found interred bodies tens of thousands of years old with stones placed on tops of them - to keep them from raising from the dead?
