Honestly, it doesn't really make a difference to me either way, I mostly use the thumbs up and Haha likes, but it seems to be what a lot of people expect from social media adjacent platforms these days.

I definitely agree, it being a writing forum and all. But we can have a few fun reactions. My vision for the new joint is two fold:
1. Be a serious repository for writing. Not just discussion of writing, but actual for-real written things across the various formats. Workshop, Roleplay, Contests.
2. Have fun. Writing will make you insane if you can't have fun doing it.
And on a sidenote, the best way to get me to NOT do something is to say that .com does it. Nothing against them at all, but that's not what I'm looking for.
I’d like to lose the angry reaction as well , as with negative rep that just causes and prolongs arguments. There no problem adding a beer and a thank you but I’d like to avoid the animated ones which just feel naff and harken back to websites in the late 90s early thousands
Yeah, negatives can go. They don't apply negative reaction, at least. Just a 0 score vs a 1 for everything else. And we don't need animated. I look around at some stuff. It looks straight forward to wire in the ACP, and I could use more admin practice.
Yeah crack on if you want , I’m slammed today anyway, just makes I sure that wherever you source them is somewhere we want to be associated with ( a lot of smiley sites can be add ridden and spammy)

Hmmm. So if you disable the reaction, they all disappear. Reenable, and they all come back. That's weird. I have to see if I can adjust the size so it doesn't make everything look all elongated.
