What made me happy today?

Congrats, JT!

Angel Chicken Chalk Board Messaging system. This hits all my wife's buttons.
I'm happy because I found something to surprise my wife with. My wife will be surprised and happy when she gets home from
Please tell me you have some gags in mind with the not-subtle-at-all scrotum hanging from the neck there.

I love that, scrotum and all. Great find, and very sweet.

Numbers made me happy today. One of them is 42. The other 21. (they might only be relevant to people on this island and the one nearby)

42 is the meaning of life.

Are you sure it's not 56? ;)

(In The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect find out that the Ultimate Question is:
"What do you get when you multiply six by nine?"

This is so absurd that either the meaning of the universe is meaningless and unknowable, or -- alternatively -- that the philosophers
Majikthise and Vroomfondel had 13 fingers, because 6 x 9 in base 13 actually is 42).
:)

Worked in Two-Headed Shadow today. There are a number of things about it which pull back into its orbit. Written in present tense, a crazy protagonist, and two equally messed up co-protagonists and its unapologetically dark. But, as with my other projects, exploring the characters and the world remain the top priority.

I believe it's important to write about characters who, for whatever reason, find themselves on the other side of the tracks. And those stories must be brought to meaningful conclusions. I maintain that this particular world is 'dark yet colorful' and I don't seek to offend yet make no apologies.

yeah, apparently bars are opening up at 6 am tomorrow morning. Almost seems like there is no point in going to bed
This is probably the only way I'd be able to watch this live - pulling an all-nighter. But, I don't wanna do that, so I'm just going to avoid the internet tomorrow until I can finish a replay of the broadcast. I'm super excited for this game. Glad my Finns snagged the bronze today, but boy it'd be nice for the Canucks to bag another gold against 'Murca.

I hope this strategy works, but there's a fair chance that I will be woken up in the morning by people honking their horns in celebration.

I'm livestreaming the game for free on YouTube (I have a smart TV) on Gem CBC - that's how I have been watching the Olympics
