I think driving to do any activity is more likely to result in death than the activity itself.

Fortunately, you don't have to drive anywhere to shovel your own driveway. But then, If you didn't drive, you wouldn't need to shovel it. So, it's a deadly activity you do to enable another deadly activity. It's a wonder any of us survive past 25.

Shoveling snow is a noble activity. I could spend many happy hours sitting in my chair, sipping hot tea, and watching people shovel snow.

That's the plan. Approximately 100 Americans die shoveling snow each year. I'm going to be pissed if I get to the end and keel over.

Don't know how often you usually get shovelable snow, but in most cases a snowblower is cheaper than a heart attack.
