I think driving to do any activity is more likely to result in death than the activity itself.
Fortunately, you don't have to drive anywhere to shovel your own driveway. But then, If you didn't drive, you wouldn't need to shovel it. So, it's a deadly activity you do to enable another deadly activity. It's a wonder any of us survive past 25.
 
Don't know how often you usually get shovelable snow, but in most cases a snowblower is cheaper than a heart attack.
Heh. It croaked 3 years ago but we stopped getting snow so I didn't bother replacing it. It could only do maybe 6 inches without stalling. Wouldn't have made it 6 inches out of my garage with this one. One of the neighbors has the giant, riding mower sized ones with the three foot intake. I don't think he made it 6 feet down the sidewalk before it failed. Shit was chest high in spots. 38 inches in less than 24 hours.
