I woke up super late today, but I still got a lot done. I think I'm about finished with the website design, though it's a pretty simple page. There will be just a few things to add come launch day, and I'll copy most of it for the Facebook author page.

It is WAY too hot today, but since I was spending the whole afternoon in my bedroom with the AC anyway, I baked a batch of peanut butter cookies. They turned out just great, nice and chewy, melt in your mouth delicious.

My brother (together with his daughter) is planning a big party for his wife's birthday in the fall. They've even rented a small hall. In honour of our trip to Ireland (which happened because my sister-in-law wanted to celebrate this milestone birthday in Ireland) - the theme of the party will be "The Luck of the Irish" - and my brother is planning on having games of chance at the party, like crown and anchor.

I know a guy who did that literally. Left his wife and kids and hopped on a train to Georgia, where he was from originally. I doubt it left at midnight, but I can hope.
