This morning an hour before I'd normally get up, some dear clueless friend clicked a thumbs up on every single group text sent in the last two days- eleven damn dings in a row. Sleep does not come back from that.

Sometimes I'll get a text while I am sleeping and it sometimes does wake me up. But when you live alone, you don't want to turn on "notifications silenced"

I can go back to sleep after a ding or two, but eleven? Nope. Ain't happening. She's a nice, considerate woman and would be so appalled to know she'd disturbed someone's sleep. Sigh. She probably wanted to indicate to each and every person that their contributions to the conversation were appreciated. It was about setting a time for a meeting, so I don't see appreciation as necessary, but...

One of my parent's best friends had three boys that I grew up with. No girls. Those three boys are all married with kids now and have seven boys all day. No girls. I'm not sure how anomalous that is, but seeing all of them together this weekend at a BBQ still has me chuckling. They're almost like a mini-cult.

You mean to the Chronicles of Elidel? Your first step is to create characters and submit them to @Whiskii, then once approved Whiskii will post them to the character index, and then you are added to the official story rotation. But I think Whiskii and I are in the rotation before you.
