I was struggling in first year French and decided to switch back to German. I thankfully can start at level 1 as it’s been over 10 years since I did the language. But so excited. I love German and want to live in Germany. If anyone wants to be German penpals or has good resources to recommend, please let me know. German resources are sparse in the US.

Best I can offer is a recipe for German chocolate cake, which as far as I know isn't German at all. I spent three weeks in Germany about 15 years ago and loved every minute of it.

Had an around 8 km walk 'n' talk with a friend I've known since school today. He's studied to become a doctor and I've followed his journey since he started it. I am proud that he managed to become what he wanted, very good of him.
