I grew up all over the US. Haha. It's not a hotdog, or a chili dog, it's a wiener! Mustard, onion, meat sauce (not chili), and celery salt. I can see you're not from Rhode Island.

We ain't in the US anymore. We're in Rhode Island! Actually all of your asses are in Providence now, in a manner of speaking. Specifically, Federal Hill. They made a movie about it. Not great, but a big deal at the time. I actually rewatched it a few years ago, which was a trip, because the city has changed so much in 30 years.I grew up all over the US. Haha.
I'd love to try one, and introduce you to a Chicago hot dog the next time we're both there (hah!)It's not a hotdog, or a chili dog, it's a wiener! Mustard, onion, meat sauce (not chili), and celery salt. I can see you're not from Rhode Island.

May 2026, hopefully. We go every few years for the NRA food show. That would be the restaurant NRA. I was last there in 2023. Chicago dogs are different. Everything food in the Midwest is different. Very good, though.I'd love to try one, and introduce you to a Chicago hot dog the next time we're both there (hah!)

I thought there was a dedicated thread for this but I couldn't find it. Apologies if this is the wrong space for it.
Would adding some sort of personal journal function to the profile page be desirable or even possible? I ask because I often find myself composing pieces using the personal message system and then sending it to myself so I have a kind of record of things. I'm sure everyone else is smart enough to use a dedicated text editor but I'm weird. Thought it was worth checking.
*edit*
On second inspection this is clearly an improper area for this question and I don't know how to delete it. Apologies!
Or the Writing Feats thread in "Writing Discussions"If possible, I think an accountability forum or thread might be good (I couldn't find one with a quick search, but if there is an existing space for this, please let me know). Somewhere we can share our goals and update them etc. if we want to hold ourselves accountable.
tThat’d be what the progress journals are for

Click the blue button right above that. It says "New Posts."Apologies if this hasn't been mentioned before. The thread has gotten a bit too large to make reviewing it a feasible endeavour.
This is regarding the "Trending" threads thingy on the right side of the main page. Is this the same as the "Recent" posts from the old site, or is the criteria different? I liked that feature, where you can jump in on an active discussion.
According to the back end, the "Trending" is calculated from metrics in the Activity Log. And it emphasizes what is "hot" rather than what is "recent." And it uses a 7 day rolling lookback. So that's interesting, I guess.Apologies if this hasn't been mentioned before. The thread has gotten a bit too large to make reviewing it a feasible endeavour.
